During the Summer of 2022 Sport and Social Change Network Ireland developed a partnership with the Celtic FC Foundation and local football clubs and community organisations across Sligo, Mayo and Belfast to deliver the Summer Games programme.

The programme offered free access coaching, camps, matches and tournaments for young people aged 10-16 years at key times when parents and families are struggling to find activities for children.

With over 500 children engaged the programme proved hugely popular – and this evaluation video captures some of the fun and excitement of the flagship community event with representatives from communities across Sligo, Mayo and Belfast.
